As a kid, fun meant staging photoshoots with my friends—modeling in the forest behind our houses or tucking a white sheet into the closet as a makeshift backdrop (then getting dressed up—hello, 2012 bubble necklace lol). The photos are hilarious to look back on, and I'm grateful to have photos from that time that capture the pure joy and authenticity of my childhood. The ability to freeze a moment, a feeling, in time is what I love most about photography.

Capturing those simple, wild, fun, and natural moments is what drove me to first pick up a camera, and connecting with such amazing humans is what has kept me inspired all these years. Telling people's unique stories is something I don't take for granted.

When I’m not being your favorite third wheel or adventuring to capture your memories, you can usually find me with my sweet (and insane) dog, Phoebe. We’re either exploring a new national park, dancing around the apartment to Taylor Swift, or snuggled on the couch watching Grey’s Anatomy and editing photos.

So that's a little about me! I can’t wait to get to know your story too, and I’d be so honored to play a small part in helping you tell it.

I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. I attended NC State University (Go Pack!) where I received a BS in Nutrition Sciences and minors in Gender Studies & Business Administration. My favorite memories from my childhood are from the week we spent at Ocean Isle Beach every summer.

I'm originally from north carolina

I have my Masters in Global Health from Georgetown University, where I conducted research in the socio-cultural acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in the Volta Region of Ghana. My first big girl job was at an international development non-profit, where I worked until I quit to move to San Francisco and pursue photography full time. I'm so, so grateful for my time spent working in international development, I learned so much about different cultures & how the world works.

my background is in international development

I love to read — my favorite book is the final book in the Throne of Glass series (which is 950 pages and I read in 2 days). The first book I stayed up up all night to read was the Hunger Games, and I still love the series today! I picked up running after moving to San Francisco because I needed to get over my fear of hills, and I've since run two marathons and am signed up for two more.

My free time is spent reading, running, yoga-ing, and snuggling with my dog

I didn't grow up traveling, and I took every opportunity to

i've traveled to 32 countries

At the end of the day,

I'm really just a type b goofy girl who believes love and fun are the point to life.
